“Nashville had always been Music City to me! So when I came to visit Nashville in 2002 on the occasion of l'Eté du Vin, I made sure to bring my 9 year-old son. Still, I wasn't prepared for the scale of the event nor was I expecting such in depth knowledge and enthusiasm for the great wines of the world. While I made many new and lasting friendships in Tennessee, I marveled at the dedication everyone showed in making everything successful and worthy of the event's noble cause. I have had the unfortunate privilege of witnessing the onslaught of cancer on one very close member of my family, and I can only imagine how this dreadful disease may affect its young victims. On the occasion of the 28th Anniversary of l'Eté du Vin, I wish to encourage each and everyone to participate in helping one of America's Oldest Charity Wine Events …”
